How it is put together
A FastAPI backend does the converting, with one converter per family, and a React frontend handles the uploads and the options. FFmpeg comes bundled, so audio and video work without installing anything; Pandoc and LibreOffice are optional and unlock more document formats when they are present. A request can carry up to 20 files of 300 MB each, and requests are rate limited per client.
